Right now I’m excited about using my old super 8 camera. The super 8 was sitting on my desk at work for the longest time and for some reason I thought they had stopped making film for it, but a colleague told me Kodak was still churning it out. I took some footage of my kids in the back yard and I’m interested to see what develops.

I’d like to get some big canvases and just paint with my kids in the basement too. Working in primarily digital it just feels right to make some things that are a little more home-spun. I’m not sure where all of this is leading and I don’t have a set goal in mind which makes it fun and interesting.

It’s a challenge fitting creativity in with 3 kids and a big job and a house reno. I’m incredibly lucky to have a lot of creative folks in my life inspiring me with their work. I’m getting back to just making stuff and it’s been a long time.
